The Hampton Ballet Theater School

The Hampton Ballet Theatre School, celebrating five years of dance on the East
End, in collaboration with the Hampton Chamber Orchestra and a “celebrity”
narrator will perform the enchanting ballet Peter and the Wolf on:

~Tuesday, July 26 at 6:00 p.m. at the Children’s Museum of the East End, 376 Bridgehampton/Sag Harbor Turnpike
~Thursday, July 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation located at 240 Edgemere Street in Montauk.

The ballet, choreographed by the director of HBTS, Sara Jo Strickland, with
beautiful, handcrafted costumes by Yuka Silvera, will virtually come alive for
the children of the East End community with the live orchestra, ballet and
narration.

The performance will be danced by the students of the Hampton Ballet Theatre School,
who range from 4 to 18 years old. The 25-piece Hampton Chamber Orchestra,
conducted by Dr. Andrew Perea, is a group of talented professional musicians who
all hail from the East End.

This ballet is a treat for all ages, as Sergei Prokovfiev’s famous score
introduces all the ballet characters as sounds from musical instruments. You
won’t want to miss this exciting, educational performance!
