Inside The Summer Cabana's Elegant Hamptons Pop-Up at Shou Sugi Ban House

The Hamptons welcomed a new destination for summer style as The Summer Cabana debuted with a thoughtfully curated three-day pop-up at the Cottages at Shou Sugi Ban House in Water Mill. Presented by La Maregold, Kinderbrook Home, Casa Bombón, and Sanöè, the immersive experience celebrated the effortless elegance of East End living through fashion, design, wellness, and community.

The festivities began on July 9 with an intimate cocktail soirée that brought together local tastemakers, creatives, and friends of the brands for an evening of relaxed luxury in one of the Hamptons’ most tranquil settings.

Guests enjoyed an elevated menu of seasonal bites and refreshments, including wood-fired pizza from the Motorino pizza truck, freshly shucked local oysters, chips topped with caviar, Dos Hombres tequila and mezcal margaritas, La Scolca Gavi, Neil Hamamoto sake, and chilled pours of The Pale Rosé, whose signature picnic-inspired spirit perfectly complemented the relaxed outdoor setting that defined the event.

Produced by FG Collective, the experience was brought to life with lush floral design by Sag Harbor Florist. A standout feature of the evening was a bespoke flower cart installation inspired by the East End landscape and artfully composed of locally foraged grasses, fragrant herbs, and seasonal blooms that reflected the natural beauty of the Hamptons.

Throughout the weekend, guests had the opportunity to browse collections from the host brands alongside a curated lineup of guest partners, including AERIN, Over The Moon, minnow, Cimelio Blu, Side Eye, Nina Runsdorf, NÜÜ VINTAGE, Volvoreta, and more. The shopping experience was complemented by a weekend of engaging programming, from a Friday morning wellness class to a Sunday gelato cart and a thoughtfully curated family day featuring activities by Ooo Goody, creating special moments for guests of all ages.

Designed as more than just a retail pop-up, The Summer Cabana created a destination for discovery, connection, and effortless summer living. Set against one of the Hamptons’ most serene settings, the experience embodied the relaxed sophistication and thoughtful hospitality that define summer on the East End.
