Sweat With The Ness This Summer!

On Saturday, July 6th Montauk’s Hero Beach Club hosted was the new, exclusive workout class The Ness followed by a guided mediation and crystal reading thanks to Madi Murphy, the founder of Sacred Space Revolution.

KDHamptons sat down with one of The Ness’s cofounders Aly Giampolo to get more insight on what The Ness has planned for the summer and to find more out about the company. Aly shared that the company started about four months ago opening their first studio in Tribeca. They offer a 50 minute sculpt class to focus on the toning and elongation of muscles and a 50-minute bounce cardio class using trampolines engaging both the body and mind.

At Hero Beach Club, Aly taught an awesome, upbeat sculpt class which incorporated different forms of squats, burpees, lunges, dancing, arm workouts, and ab workouts on a mat. The sculpt class is designed to target all parts of the body. Aly created a super fun environment with upbeat music and offered modifications for those of us who needed it (aka me).  The Ness will be hosting more free events this summer in the Hamptons so keep an eye out for them!

Following the workout, I was excited to hear that we would be receiving a 10-minute guided meditation thanks to Madi Murphy. In order to promote better mental rest Madi incorporated the use of a sound bowl for energy and spiritual cleansing. Afterwards I spoke to Madi as she gave me my crystal reading.

Madi explained that she got involved with crystal readings when she moved from New York City to Montauk to take a break from hectic city life. Her reconnection with nature made her realize that energy and her environment had affected her whole presence more than she thought it did previously. She was able to tell me by my random choosing of a crystal what certain aspects of my life were telling me and the direction I should head in for clarity. She also let me sample some Vibe Protection Spray infused with crystals available for purchase on her website. She, like The Ness, will be hosting more events throughout the summer.

I left this wellness event on a Saturday morning feeling refreshed, toned, and like I could take on the world. Thank you to Hero Beach Club for hosting, The Ness for a challenging and rewarding workout, and Sacred Space Revolution for positive energy and some perspective changing insights.
