Spicy Pineapple Punch

Serves 2

[ingredients] 2 cups pineapple juice
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
6 whole cloves
6 cardamom pods
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh mint leaves
1/2 cup brandy
[instructions] Put one cup of the pineapple, the cinnamon, cloves, cardamoms pods, and mint into a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil, cover the pan and simmer gently for 20 minutes.
Remove from the heat and allow it to cool. Keep the pan covered. Strain the drink and add the remaining cup of pineapple juice and the brandy. Serve hot or cold.
