Dylan with her adorable rescue dog, Jersey.

Dylan and Ruth are avid animal lovers. Lauren has a special place in her heart for the MCSPCA, where she adopted her new puppy, Jersey. This Collie-Labrador mutt was brought to the adoption center in January after being rescued from underneath a trailer in an industrial park in Puerto Rico. She was fortunately saved by Dylan from the inevitable tragedy that faces millions of dogs in her situation.

The MCSPCA is a non-profit organization which relies entirely on private donations to fund their many programs including: Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic, Cruelty Investigations, Humane Education, Pet Assisted Therapy, Dog Training, Pet Bereavement Counseling, Lost and Found. An open admission shelter, the MCSPCA does not euthanize adoptable pets and houses upwards of 200 animals until they are able to find suitable homes for each animal.

There are so many puppies, dogs and cats that are looking for loving homes this summer…….come on KDHamptons readers~ save a rescue and save a life!!
