Peter Liem, renowned wine writer and Champagne expert, and Daniel Johnnes, founder of La Paulée de New York and Wine Director for Chef Daniel Boulud’s restaurant group, announce the 2nd annual La Fête du Champagne, which will take place November 5-7, 2015 in New York City.  La Fête du Champagne is acknowledged to be the ultimate Champagne event in the United States, hosting over thirty Champagne of the most rare and best producers and growers. This is the only event that spans the breadth of the vast Champagne region, unifying the largest well known producers, such as Dom Perignon, Krug, and Billecart-Salmon, with the exquisite small growers, such as Marie-Noëlle Ledru, Pierre Paillard, and Marie-Courtin. In short, this is a Champagne geek’s dream.

Over fifty of the finest Sommeliers from all over the U.S. have offered to work at the event, led by Patrick Cappiello of Rebelle and Pearl & Ash in New York City because of this unique access to Champagnes they have not tasted or seen. Many of these vintages are no longer produced. These specialists will handle the wine service and offer guidance to guests as they enjoy the events. The unique and extraordinary Champagnes are shipped specifically from owners’ cellars – not pulled off retail shelves.

The more formal Gala Dinner, which will be the culmination of the series of events, will be a multi-course meal.
