KDHamptons:  How long have you been coming to the Hamptons?  Why do you love it so much out here?

Nina Reeves: I’ve been coming to the Hamptons throughout the many different chapters of my life.  My parents used to own a house in Bridgehampton as well, so there’s a lot of history for me on the East End. Several of my closest friends have moved out to the Hamptons full time, and I love being able to spend time with them in the Summers.

KDHamptons:  Please describe what you do as a career for our readers?

Nina: I have a public relations and business development firm and specialize predominately in luxury lifestyle clients as well as non-profits.  Presently, I am enjoying working with a number of talented interior designers, helping to bring their businesses to the next level while also increasing their visibility.

KDHamptons:  Do you have any events planned for summer in the Hamptons?

Nina: I plan on entertaining friends, going to fun dinners and I always try to keep my schedule a little on the flexible side so that I can take advantage of last minute beach picnics.  One of my clients is the International Center of Photography and they will be hosting an extraordinary exhibition at the Southampton Art Center featuring photography on Cuba. The opening reception will be held on August 15th.

As far as my interior designer clients, Bennett Leifer will be visiting the Hamptons this Summer – spending time with his clients discussing their New York and Hamptons projects.

And two of my other interior designer clients Villalobos Desio will be on the East End for the occasional weekend with friends and clients or a visit to a show house.

KDHamptons:  Describe your perfect Hamptons day in detail?

Nina: I love getting up early and taking my dog to the beach for long walks – the perfect way to begin the day. I’m a big fan of Pilates so I fit that in whenever I can and, of course, nothing is better that spending time with friends and loved ones over a great meal at the end of the day.

KDHamptons:  What is your favorite Hamptons restaurant, got a favorite dish & drink you get every time?

Nina: Everything at Yama Q in Bridgehampton is good, but their lunch special is fantastic: miso soup, a salad, and a cucumber roll for eight dollars!  I also love the poached lobster at Dockside in Sag Harbor – plus they make an amazing jalapeno margarita.

KDHamptons:  Is there an event or party do you look forward to each summer?

Nina: There are so many fun events in the Summer to look forward to – I couldn’t narrow it down to one. I’m a fan of ARF and the Parrish Art Museum so I always try to go to anything that supports them.
