The 1,200 square foot store, conceptualized by L’OBJET Founder & Creative Director Elad Yifrach, will showcase L’OBJET’s beloved collections of luxury tableware and home décor items, alongside a meticulously curated assortment of goods from around the world to highlight the best of summer elegance. With Elad’s deep connections to the Mediterranean and the element of water so engrained in the brand, it is a natural fit for L’OBJET to find its first home in the seaside community of the Hamptons.

Elad has traveled across the globe, from Paris to London and across Asia to source an array of products, introducing them to the Hamptons, and in some cases to the United States, at L’OBJET a la Plage for the very first time. A few of the hand-selected brands include: Bamford (British body and personal care, U.S. exclusivity), Boom Art (custom surfboards, Hamptons exclusivity), Opiary (functional green sculptures, Hamptons exclusivity), Martone Cycling (high-end bicycles, Hamptons exclusivity), Segno Italiano (Italian beach chairs and glassware and custom-made, one-of-a-kind Fortuny surfboards (exclusive retailer). With products across many categories, prices range from $30 towels to $12,000 for a custom fireplace.

“The opening of our first store has always been a dream for me,” said Elad Yifrach, Founder & Creative Director of L’OBJET. “L’OBJET a la Plage represents over 10 years of curating the best in luxury living. Through the products I have sourced, the store aims to be a destination to inspire an elegant life by the sea. The products I have sourced are both light and livable but refined and sophisticated. They are all most importantly slightly unexpected.”

The store’s color palette reflects the softness and sophistication of life at the beach with a mixture of grays, whites and cool blues in Farrow & Ball paints. Mixed between cabinetry filled with the finest L’OBJET Limoges porcelain to adorn summer tablescapes, will be everything from custom surfboards decorated with Renaissance art to handmade Italian beach chairs, representing a collection of the best of summer living.

At the center of the space, a custom Opiary fireplace, teeming with lush greenery, will warm the store inviting customers to lounge on a lavish daybed piled high with a variety of mohair and cashmere pillows. The rear section of the store will include a sofa for additional seating, providing a comfortable and homey vibe for customers. L’OBJET product will represent about a majority of the store’s inventory.
