Launching September 10th, Pierre Yovanovitch: Interior Architecture takes readers on a journey, narrated by Yovanovitch himself, across the globe to discover a selection of his stunning recent works in New York, Paris, London, Brussels, Tel Aviv, the Swiss Alps, the Douro Valley in Portugal, and Provence.

Central to the publication is a focus on Pierre Yovanovitch’s signature style in which he blends his love for contemporary art and vintage furniture with his mastery of architectural volume and proportions. As an avid collector himself, Yovanovitch incorporates contemporary art and vintage design elements in all of his interiors projects along with commissioning established artists to create site-specific works.

Yovanovitch’s unparalleled ability to restructure historic spaces to fit a contemporary lifestyle, involving his collaborative work with the finest speciality craftsmen in Europe to create custom furniture and lighting pieces, is showcased through fourteen remarkable projects included in the monograph. Among these works, including never before published photographs, are: a Parisian mansion with custom art works by Daniel Buren, Tadashi Kawamata and Ugo Rondinone among others; a Swiss chalet; a hotel and winery in Douro, Portugal; a London mansion that houses an art collection with work by Richard Prince, Elizabeth Peyton, and Camille Henrot; and a Tel Aviv home with a nest installation by contemporary artist Porky Hefer.

About the Author: Pierre Yovanovitch founded his Paris-based design atelier in 2001 after a career as a menswear designer for Pierre Cardin led him to follow his passion interior architecture and design. Known for his signature haute couture aesthetic in which he blends high art, architectural elements, and vintage furniture to create a refined yet unpretentious setting, Yovanovitch has been revered by industry experts for his mastery of volume and proportions and his unparalleled ability to restructure historic spaces to fit a contemporary lifestyle.
