Interior design darling, Danielle Rollins, is known for her effortlessly elegant personal style and inherently great taste. The founder and creative director for Danielle Rollins Interiors shares, “My overriding joy is in providing inspiration for achieving beauty in everyday living, whether it is through home decorating or flawless entertaining,” as evidenced in her latest debut of a living room at this year’s Kips Bay Palm Beach Decorator Show House. KDHamptons shares the behind the scenes design details, below.
Rollins designed the living room to serve as the ultimate gathering space, taking inspiration from the late ‘70s – early ‘80s disco era. She says that she “decorates and design in a way that is comfortable, inviting and warm, but most of all gives a sense of joy to a space. I love things that are well made, often touched by a human hand & therefore, heart, that has a sense of forever.”
The focal point of the living room is her prized Angelo Donghia armoire turned “barmoire,” with a richly textured sisal rug beneath and a Mollino Tiered Chandelier from Visual Comfort suspended above the tropically minimalist room.
Danielle Rollins is an outspoken advocate of women’s issues and women’s rights, passionate female entrepreneur who believes in giving back, a proud mother of three young adult children, and a resident of Palm Beach, Florida.
