NEW KDHamptons Design Diary: Betsy Wentz Shares Energized "Mosaic Lounge" at the Hampton Designer Showhouse

Renowned interior designer Betsy Wentz joined an all star team to participate in this year’s stunning Hampton Designer Showhouse, benefitting the Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. KDHamptons took a private tour of the showhouse and loved it! Pittsburgh-based interior designer Betsy Wentz presented an energized “Mosaic Lounge” with pops of citrus inspired hues. Imbued with references to the ‘70s, the space serves as a celebration of artistry as well as a tribute to Wentz’s interior designer mother.

Wentz brings her love of color and pattern to the classic Southampton home creating an energized “Mosaic Lounge” with pops of citrus inspired hues. The lounge is a color story running from left to right, and it includes the works of some of Wentz’s favorite artists today. It’s inviting and has a slow reveal. Wentz designed the space, in part, with her mother in mind. She can see her mom taking a seat on the custom low slung sofa and enjoying a cocktail.

Betsy Wentz’s “Mosaic Lounge” invites relaxation and a playful sense of yesteryear. It will be on display the duration of the Hampton Designer Showhouse from Sunday, July 21 to Monday, September 2, 2019, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
