Meet Chance: Handsome, Shy & Looking for a Hamptons Home!

SHARE

Over the past two years, KDHamptons has helped aid in the adoption of many dutiful dogs and compassionate cats at the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation (SASF). We love receiving fabulous emails from the shelter informing us that KDHamptons readers have been coming to the rescue of these adorable animals in need of a Hamptons home!

We hope you might consider adopting one of these dogs in need~ what better gift is there than to save a life? The Southampton Animal Shelter has been working nonstop to show these dogs a lot of love~ bathing them, holding them, and spreading the word to help find them a home. [pssst! If the timing isn’t right for you to adopt now, you can make a donation to underwrite one of the shelter pet’s cages as well].

I thank you for your help! xx KDH

Chance is a 3 year old mix of handsome who is quite camera shy! And with these good looks, too! Chance is very well trained on his commands and loves to be around people. He would make a great sidekick for a jog, stroll on the beach, or even to just hang out with you! He can be quirky and playful. He can also be picky about his dog friends and would prefer to be your one and only. Selfish, we know, but would you take a “chance” on him?

This is Elsa! She is boxing herself up and ready to go. Where? A forever home! This blue cream senior 13 year old tortie really wants to sit on your lap, or share your couch and watch her soaps. Elsa has been here since 2010! She’s looking for a home with a heart and a TV!

The SASF will be doing 3 events this weekend! On Saturday, April 13th we will be at the Patchogue Library at 54 Main Street from 11 am til 4 pm along with other shelters around Long Island at a Pet Appreciation Adopt-A-Thon. Kathy Ferraro, Public Training Coordinator, will do a demonstration on tricks and training. And we will also be at the Riverhead Theater on Main Street from 10:30 -Noon on Saturday with some of our adoptable pets! On Sunday, the 14th join us at Petco from noon til 3pm where all the pets go!
