On Saturday, June 24th Stony Hill Stables awarded six equestrian scholarships at their annual Stony Hill Stables Foundation benefit. Attendees enjoyed a special Dressage Pas de Deux by Gold medalist Wick Hotchkiss & Bailey Thompson, a delightfully choreographed Pony Drill Team performance, followed by a solo Dressage finale by Wick Hotchkiss. Launched in the summer of 2012, Stony Hill Stables is still the only stable in Long Island to offer this unique equestrian scholarship program to local East End children and young adults.

The Stony Hill Stables Foundation is a not-for-profit program established to offer scholarship equestrian training for local residents. A scholarship includes training lessons over a four month or longer semester. It could include the lease of a pony/horse and boarding fees. Training includes hunter/jumper equitation or dressage training, horse care, clinics, and competitive show activity. The goal is to promote equine sports, riding education, and good sportsmanship providing local children and adults a healthy, enhancing life experience.

Stony Hill Stables Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) program providing a unique atmosphere for children and adults to become skilled in equine sports, build friendships and connect to the East End Community.
