On Sunday, March 29th, the Madoo Conservancy continues its Winter lecture series with a visit from acclaimed writer and editor, Stephen Orr, who will examine the long tradition of American Herbals.  Orr will also add new layers of information based on a multicultural look at the herbs we use in our homes and gardens.  Learn about European herbs you’ve always wanted to grow (chervil, chamomile, and lovage), exotic herbs that (such as lemongrass, papalo, shiso, and nigella), and even controversial herbs such as marijuana, monkshood, and foxglove.  Perfect timing for tips on your spring planting projects, right?
