The weekend we have all been waiting for has finally arrived! Kick off your shoes, sip some Wolffer Estates Summer in a Bottle Rosé, and celebrate the official kick off of summer in the Hamptons. KDHamptons has edited down the best events, restaurants openings, concerts, and benefits that you don’t want to miss in our Memorial Day Weekend Guide, below. Sunset Fridays & Saturdays at the Wine Stand at Wölffer Estate

Enjoy Friday and Saturday evenings at the best vineyard in the Hamptons.  Enjoy wines by the glass and bottle, cheese and charcuterie plates.

One Kings Lane Opens Retail Store in Southampton

One Kings Lane, a premier destination for home shopping and interior design services, has opened its first store this summer in Southampton today.

Live Music at Sole East

The Backyard Restaurant at Solé East Resort is hosting live music throughout Memorial Day Weekend to kick-off the 2017 season. A schedule of events, subject to change, is as follows:

Friday, May 26:Alfredo Merat Acoustic; 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., DJ 10 p.m.
Saturday, May 27: DJ Poolside,1 to 6 p.m., DJ Faze 10 p.m.
Sunday, May 28: Poolside Brunch with Marcello and Ludmilla, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Summer Kickoff at Centro

Summer kickoff party with guest DJ Ian Mellemcamp.

Pollock Family Drip Painting

For children ages four and above. Directed by popular author/artist, Joyce Raimondo, families explore the home and studio of famous artists, Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner. Then inspired by Pollock, children and adults drip paint to create their own art outdoors on the spectacular grounds overlooking Accabonic Harbor. Supplies included. 9th Annual Memorial Day Weekend Show on the Green

The Montauk Artists’ Association hosts the Weekend Show on the Green—a day or weekend of exploring art. Free admission. The Village Green transforms into an outdoor gallery of original and handmade art brought to Montauk from artists across America.

Dan’s Taste of Summer, Rosé Soirée

Taste more than 25 of the best rosés from the Hamptons, North Fork, Provence and beyond, paired with refreshing bites from top chefs and restaurants such as The Restaurant at Baron’s Cove, The East Pole, Loaves and Fishes, Calissa and Kingsley.

Montauk Yacht Club

Three hour lighthouse cruise. Experience includes: up-close viewing of 4 lighthouses, cruise by 5 islands and a seal search.

Monday, May 29 (Memorial Day)

Southampton Memorial Day Parade

The parade begins at Southampton First Presbyterian Church on Main Street, proceeds down Jobs Lane and finish at Agawam Park. The Reverend Mark Middlekauff will give a dedication, along with guest speake Phil Keith, an awarded U.S. Navy veteran who served three tours in Vietnam.

East Hampton Memorial Day Service & Parade

East Hampton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 550 will host its annual Memorial Day service at 9 a.m., and a parade will follow at 10 a.m. on Main Street in the village. A memorial service featuring guest speaker State Assemblyman Fred Thiele will follow on the Village Green.
