Beall and Bell is my favorite destination on the North Fork for discovering interesting antiques. The owners curate the chicest selection of housewares, antiquities and little treasures with such an eye that the store itself looks like a photo shoot staged for Elle Decor to walk in and start snapping away! Known as the best kept secret amongst prop stylists, decorators and designers, Beall and Bell can fill nearly every room in your haute Hamptons home with one of a kind finds!

What makes Beall and Bell so special is that they offer a vast selection of modern, mid century and contemporary furniture as well as quirky objet d’art at prices that are extraordinarily affordable compared to stores on the South Fork. Where else might you stumble upon a giant ceiling globe for your child’s playroom [above]? Located on bucolic Main Street in Greenport, part of the fun shopping here is spending the afternoon strolling through all of the galleries, little cafes & pastry shops….

This store is a gem, just remember~ the inventory moves quickly and for good reason, so pull the trigger when you find something you’d like to take home! Even if you’re not a Hamptonite, Greenport is less than two hours from Manhattan so it’s a fun fall day trip. Don’t forget to devour some fried chicken from Salamanders for lunch, and pick up a few bottles of specialty olive oils and infused vinegars from my favorite shop Vine & Branch before you head home!
