JCOH Hosts Children’s Purim Party at The Clubhouse on March 8th

The Jewish Center of the Hamptons is hosting a Children’s Purim Party at The Clubhouse on Sunday, March 8th.  If there was a contest for Jewish holidays, Purim would win the prize for most fun and kid-friendly. Don’t miss this celebratory day where kids and grown-ups alike dress in costume, with a carnival feel that includes games, prizes and eating plenty of hamantaschen cookies.

As the story goes… Purim commemorates the day Esther, Queen of Persia, saved the Jews by bravely exposing her previously hidden Jewish heritage to her husband, the king, and asking him to save her people, which he did. Both adults and children are encouraged to dress up.
