Cocktails For The Koalas: A Hamptons Fundraiser on February 7th

COCKTAILS FOR KOALAS! The Country School and Wildlife Rescue of East Hampton will host fundraiser event on February 7th to benefit the wildlife rescue efforts in Australia at The Clubhouse (174 Daniels Hole Rd, East Hampton) to raise money for the wildlife.  The event will be co-hosted by The Country School and the Wildlife Rescue of East Hampton. Enjoy complimentary appetizers, music, a silent auction featuring generous donations from businesses in our community (and, best of all, complimentary childcare!) to benefit this important cause.

Australia has been devastated by wildfires, destructing over 30,000 square miles of land and taking the lives of an estimated one billion animals. Although this catastrophe is taking place across the world, our own local community can help! As such, all proceeds from your contribution, donation and/or ticket purchase will go directly to WIRES, Australia’s largest Wildlife Rescue Organization, in support of wildlife in distress that require rescuing, medical treatment, food, rehabilitation, and shelter. WIRES also provides shelter and supplies to relief volunteers.

It was a no brainer for Deena Zenger, founder of The Country School in Wainscott, to team up with Cullum to support this cause and simultaneously educate the school community. “At the Country School, we create an environment where children learn the importance of empathy and compassion. Helping children develop these character traits at an early age will build a better world tomorrow,”

Complimentary childcare will be provided during the event at Country school located nearby (7 Industrial Rd. Wainscott, NY) during the event.
