Hamptons Architect Nick Martin Wins Big at 53rd Annual Archi Awards

East End architect Nick Martin of Martin Architects recently took home two awards at the AIA Long Island Chapter’s 53rd Annual Archi Awards, presented on October 19th in Manhasset, NY. Established in 1998, Martin Architects provides licensed architectural and engineering services, interior design, furniture design and production and construction administration. Working on a broad range of modernist projects to historic, MA specializes in high-end residential and commercial design, undertaking projects throughout New York as well as Connecticut, New Jersey, Baltimore and Costa Rica.

Martin Architects received an award in the Residential Single $1 Million – $3 Million category for their Mill House project in East Hampton, which excelled in meeting the challenges of transforming an existing structure into an efficient, modern, and dynamic property. Featuring open spaces, artful lighting, and a mediative swimming pool as a focus, this home makes a clean, modern statement.

They also received an award in Sustainable Design for their Net Zero home in East Hampton, so-named because its innovative active and passive solar design creates a net zero effect on the environment.
