East Hampton Historical Society Hosts 7th Annual Lecture Luncheon Featuring Stephen Sills

SHARE
For the past seven years, the East Hampton Historical Society has hosted lively and informative luncheons, with the intent to explore, illuminate, and celebrate the beauty and rich history that unites us as a community. This year’s Summer Lecture Luncheon has brought together acclaimed interior designer Stephen Sills in conversation with David Netto.  Stephen Sills just released his third book, A Vision for Design (Rizzoli). Wanting it to be a teaching book, Mr. Sills asked David Netto to write the text with his mission in mind.

David Netto will engage Stephen Sills in a Q&A as the designer walks us through his projects featuring a wide variety of styles and locations —including the East End of Long Island— and his own house and garden which, which Karl Lagerfeld described as “The chicest house in America”. The East Hampton Historical Society will host their annual Summer Lecture Luncheon at the historic Maidstone Club, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, on Thursday, August 10 at 11:00 a.m.
