BEDSIDE READING® BRINGS BOOK CANDY TO THE HAMPTONS ON VALENTINE’S DAY WEEKEND

“The Hamptons are our first love,” said Jane Ubell-Meyer, Founder, Bedside Reading. “And we decided to bring our love of reading and some of our favorite authors here a little earlier this year. Reading is a great escape, and we are thrilled that we can share our book candy options for every kind of booklover to engage with their favorite author or book this Valentine’s Day!”

Bedside Reading®, the luxury hotel amenity that places a wide variety of complimentary books by the bedsides each summer in luxury hotels and boutique properties in The Hamptons, is sharing the love by returning early this year with a variety of Valentine’s Day book candy to be savored by guests of partner hotels. Sugar-covered romances, chewy thrillers and minty wellness books are just some of the offerings to be found February 12-14. In addition, it is celebrating National Heart Month by providing these sweets that feed the mind and heart, while keeping you mentally and physically healthy.

In addition to Valentine’s Day, February is American Heart Month. Reducing stress is one way to have a healthy heart, and according to researchers at the University of Sussex, “…reading is the best way to re-energize….Their work provides scientific evidence of how effective just six minutes of reading can be to reduce stress levels by more than two thirds.” Author Kathryn Starke whose book “The Perfect Blend” is in the Bedside Reading program this weekend will donate the profits from the sale of her book to the American Heart Association. For more information contact: Jane Ubell-Meyer, Bedside Reading; Email: Jane@BedsideReading.com
