Memorial Day Weekend is just days away and The Hamptons is booming with weekend plans for all beachgoers. From wine tasting to honoring those who have served, you will not be bored this Memorial Day Weekend. KDHamptons has curated a list filled with the best Memorial Day weekend plans for couples, just you, or the whole family!

  • SPARKING POINT WINE TOURS…Celebrate Memorial Day weekend at the North Fork’s only winery fully dedicated to producing sparkling wines – Sparkling Pointe. The winery’s outdoor terrace is officially open, and the winery is celebrating the unofficial start to summer with case specials, caviar, and cellar tours. The ‘Unraveling Méthode Champenoise Experience Tour’ will take place through out the weekend where guests can learn about the sparkling winemaking process through a guided behind-the-scenes tour of the wine cellar and vineyard, followed by a curated tasting of five wines and signature caviar service. Additionally, all winery guests will receive 20% off cases of all Sparkling Pointe wines from Friday, May 26 – Monday, May 29. Tours are $75/pp, and tickets can be purchased here (Advance tickets are required; Sparkling Pointe members’ pricing is $65/pp).     ROSÉ SOIRÉE HOSTED BY DAN’S TASTE… The summer kickoff party will take place on Sunday May 28th at the Southhampton Arts Center. Hosted by Dan’s Taste, the signature event will feature Rosé wines from the best wineries throughout the South Fork, North Fork and the world. The event will feature tasting bites from the local regions that the top chefs have paired with over a dozen local and international Rosé wines.

    Tickets are available for purchase HERE and will allow you to enjoy all of the food and drink at the event. General Admissions tickets grant you access to the event from 6:00pm to 9:00pm while VIP tickets allow you early entry at 6:00pm and a ticket to the VIP after party.

    VISIT THE LONGHOUSE RESERVE.. Visit The LongHouse Reserve for a peaceful walk through tour of art in the garden. The garden features art from artists such as Yoko Ono, Willem de Kooning, as well as many other incredible artists.

    THE BOB WOODRUFF FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES SECOND ANNUAL
    VETERANS CLASSIC TO SUPPORT FOOD INSECURITY INITIATIVES…The second annual Veterans Classic will take place at the Westhampton Country Club on Monday, May 22 beginning at 10:30 am. In addition to the golf tournament, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a pickleball clinic and round robin as part of the afternoon’s events. The Veterans Classic also includes lunch, dinner,cocktails, and an awards ceremony. The Patriot Parachute Team will jump in at 11:30 a.m., kicking off the day’s events. Supported by event co-chairs Colin Heffron and Mike Hoffman, proceeds from the event benefit Bob Woodruff Foundation’s work in food insecurity for the military and veteran community. Approximately one in six military families are food insecure.
