Baby Buggy supporters Reed and Delphine Krakoff hosted the 5th annual Baby Buggy Summer Dinner, along with co-hosts Jessica Seinfeld, founder of the organization, and husband comedian Jerry Seinfeld, on Saturday, July 31st, 2011.  The intimate event, which raised more than $275,000 for the organization, was sponsored by the Reed Krakoff brand for 145 friends, board members and long-time supporters of Baby Buggy, including Blythe Danner, Gayle King, Gwyneth Paltrow, James and Kimberly Van Der Beek, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, Kyle MacLachlan and Desiree Gruber, Mark Feuerstein and Dana Klein, Nacho Figueras and Delfina Blaquier, Rachel Zoe and Rodger Berman.

The fundraiser was held at the historic Krakoff Estate, Lasata, in East Hampton.  “It’s not often that someone will offer to have 150 strangers trample on their grass. It takes a special family to do this,” said Jessica Seinfeld of gracious hosts Reed and Delphine Krakoff, whose Further Lane estate used to be the family summer home of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis and her horses as a child.

Baby Buggy is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing families in need with essential equipment, clothing, products, and educational tools and services for their children. The charity is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

Guest Kimberly Van Der Beek added, “In today’s economy it’s important to have an organization that supports families in need, particularly ones with small children. The Summer Dinner is a lovely opportunity to raise funds and awareness about Baby Buggy.  Anyone can help by simply emptying that closet full of baby things they no longer use.”
