Every night on my way home I drive by beautiful Mill Pond in Water Mill. The colors of the sunsets on the pond change almost daily from gold, to pink, to lilac…..so it’s like having a live art installation on my country road. Because of the bitter cold temps we experienced over the past few days the pond started to freeze over with ice which creates another neat layer to the pastel painted reflection. Being able to skate against this backdrop would be  the “icing” on the cake!
