Holiday Cheer At Topping Rose House: Brunch Begins, The Barn Opens, and Christmas Eve Dinner Has Been Planned!

There’s no question, our favorite new restaurant this season is Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton. Built in 1842 for its namesake, Judge Abraham Topping Rose and his family, the gorgeous Greek Revival style mansion – one of the few remaining in the area – has been carefully restored to honor its antique elements while creating a modern space which caters to retreats, weddings, private parties, or a romantic dinner date night at ubër chef Tom Colicchio’s restaurant!

 

Doc and I stopped in this weekend for dessert and got some seasonal scoop from Landy F. Labadie [Director of Food & Beverage] on the hot happenings at Topping Rose House below:

Looking for a great Christmas Eve plan?

Book a table on Monday, December 24th from 5-9pm [families/children are welcome] and feast on a 4 course pre-fix menu for $125 for adults, children 10 and under $45. Here’s a taste of the Christmas Eve menu:

First Course:

Topping Rose House’s event space, The Barn [above & below], offers seasonal menus created by Chef Tom Colicchio. “We use the finest ingredients sourced from our own Topping Rose Farm as well as other local farms, ranches and day boat fishermen who share our commitment to great food.” Each dish simply showcases the essence of each ingredient.

 

 

The Barn is an ideal setting for events, holiday parties, or family gatherings. The Barn can accommodate up to 48 guests for a seated lunch or dinner, and up to 85 guests for a cocktail reception with passed hors d’oeuvres.

 

 

The Restaurant [above] at Topping Rose House is also available for a special celebration. Guests experience the unique setting of their own private restaurant while mingling over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the Bar Room before sitting down to lunch or dinner in our elegant and comfortable Dining Room.
