In the spirit of kicking off a fresh new year, Chef Tom Colicchio’s Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton is launching a monthly “Farmer’s Market” in their gorgeous barn space on January 18th from 11am to 2pm [and possibly again on Sunday, January 19th from 11am to 2pm]. Topping Rose is asking friends, vendors and purveyors if they would like to join in and have a table to display and sell any items that they feel would be a good fit to highlight at this market.
What an exciting platform for local home chefs, gourmet food makers, and artisanal vendors to share their product with East Enders. Do you bake perfect pies that leave your dinner guests asking for another slice? Why not bake a dozen and sell them at the Topping Rose farmers market? Sounds like so much fun, right?
It is free of charge to have a table, and you may charge what you feel is appropriate for your items. All you need to do is reach out to Landy Labadie, Direct of Food & Beverage at Topping Rose [see below], for more information if you are interested in participating. Topping Rose will be advertising this monthly Farmers Market in the local papers and would include you in the list of participating vendors.
Should KDH bake some of my favorite pies for the big day?!
