The Hampton Ballet Theatre School (HBTS), is excited to present their seventh annual production of Tchaikovsky’s beloved Nutcracker at Guild Hall. From the moment the curtains part, you will transported to a fantastic world of magic and dance. Join Clara as she goes on a magical journey from her family holiday party, through fierce battles and swirling snowflakes, to the exotic Kingdom of the Sweets where dreams come to life and magic is real. With brilliant sets, amazing effects, dazzling costumes and spectacular dancing, “THE NUTCRACKER” is sure to enchant audiences of all ages.

Performances will be held on Friday, December 11 at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, December 12 at 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 pm and Sunday, December 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Guild Hall’s beautiful John Drew Theater, 158 Main Street, East Hampton. Advanced ticket sales are $20 for children (under 12 years of age) and $25 for adults for general orchestra seating. Day of performance tickets sales are $25 for children (under 12 years of age) and $30 for adults for regular orchestra seating. Premium orchestra, box seats, balcony and group rates are also available.

The ballet is choreographed by the director of HBTS, Sara Jo Strickland and includes beautiful costumes designed and hand sewn by Yuka Silvera and lighting design by Sebastian Paczynski. Resident guest artists Adam and Gail Baranello of A&G Dance Company will be dancing the Arabian Prince and Princess. Dancing the role of Dew Drop Princess will be Rose Kelly a Pro Student Level 6 at HBTS and dancing the role Dew Drop Prince will be guest artist Nick Peregrino of Ballet Fleming in Philadelphia. Sharing the role of Sugar Plum Fairy will be Abigail and Caitlin Hubbell, both Pro Student Level 6 at HBTS.
