On Saturday, June 28, the 38th Annual American Picnic with Fireworks by Grucci delivered a dazzling celebration in support of the Southampton Fresh Air Home. Graciously hosted by Honorary Chairmen Margie and Michael Loeb at their stunning oceanfront estate, the evening welcomed over 500 philanthropic guests for an unforgettable evening of philanthropy, family fun, and all-American festivities.

Upon arrival, families were greeted into a vibrant carnival atmosphere complete with stilt walkers, arcade games, bounce castles, arts and crafts, and more popcorn, cotton candy, and ice cream than a kid could dream of. Adults enjoyed a classic summer BBQ dinner, refreshing cocktails, specialty food trucks, and lively entertainment, including live music and a silent disco.

Ava Bianchi moved the crowd with a stirring rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner, setting the stage for Grucci’s breathtaking firework display over Shinnecock Bay – a generous donation from the Ganek family. More than just a beautiful night, the event successfully achieved Southampton Fresh Air Home’s vital fundraising goals.

Now in its 124th year, the Southampton Fresh Air Home continues its mission of providing enriching recreational camp experiences for children with physical disabilities. With a goal of fostering self-esteem, maturity, and independence through a broadly balanced program, the organization also provides well-deserved respite for families.
