In addition to dinner we will have a Chinese auction with prizes from our local business and a 50/50 raffle. “Spaying/Neutering is one of our main missions here at the shelter. We run programs offering affordable vet services and surgeries to the public. We can only continue our programs with your support. Our SPAY-getti dinner is a fun way to help us. We are hoping you will join us this year at Buckley’s Inn Between for our SPAY-ghetti dinner fundraiser!” -Kate McEntee, SASF director of PR & Marketing.

“Animal shelters are forced to deal with the overpopulation of dogs and cats on a daily basis. This year for Valentine’s Day do something for the animal you love and have them spayed or neutered and attend SASF’s Spay-ghetti Dinner that raises funds to help reduce the number of homeless animals in our community.” Jerry Rosenthal SASF executive director

“We have had an awesome and productive year. Over 3,000 owned pets were spayed/neutered through our affordable in-house clinic. Our low-cost Mobile Clinic went out 95 times, spaying/neutering an average of 45 pets per week! In its first year our ADVO-CATS spayed/neutered & vaccinated 811 feral cats. ADVO-CATS program is a TNR (trap, neuter & release program) for our community’s feral cats. We help control the population and keep it healthy by making sure they are altered and vaccinated. Spaying and neutering is the most effective and humane way to help these outside kitties,” says McEntee.
