Local East End wines and craft beer served up alongside gourmet food trucks from the region made for a festive Fall vibe at the Septemberfest Friday Night Kickoff Party on Friday, September 27th. Hamptonites boogied down at a rocking concert by the Lone Sharks under the tent on Lake Agawam. Proceeds raise help fund Southampton SeptemberFest and provide college scholarships for local students. Fall festivities continued on Saturday, September 28, and Sunday, September 29, with activities and events throughout the village. Organized by leading civic, cultural and business groups, Southampton SeptemberFest aims to share Southampton’s rich cultural heritage and its close connection to agriculture and the sea with residents and visitors during one of the most beautiful times of year…

Activities included: The Maniac Pumpkin Carvers providing unique and stunning carved pumpkins. Sample the best chowders from the East End’s top restaurants and cafes. Then pick your favorite. Everyone can be a judge. All it takes is a hearty appetite and a love for fresh seafood. Contest begins Saturday, 9/28, 12PM in Agawam Park, Southampton Village. Don’t be late. Even though the results are tallied at 3PM the chowder can disappear long before that.
