Save the Date: SOFO’s 36th Annual Summer Gala!
Mark your calendars! On Saturday, July 12th, the South Fork Natural History Museum (SOFO) will be hosting their 36th Annual Summer Gala Benefit in Bridgehampton. This year’s theme, Champions of the Wild: A New Generation, celebrates SOFO’s educational programs and initiatives to inspire families to be responsible stewards of our planet.
Actor and activist Liev Schreiber will serve as Honorary Chair, and the hosts of the evening will include Erica Noble and Ray Iwanowski, Kim and Greg Lippmann, and Susan and David Rockefeller, along with special guest, philanthropist Jean Shafiroff. The honorees of the night are SOFO Board Trustee and longtime supporters Erica Noble and Ray Iwanowski, Jeff Corwin of The Extraordinary World with Jeff Corwin on CBS, and Joshua Fox, Director of the Brady Hunt Foundation.
The night will begin with a VIP cocktail reception from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. featuring a special tasting menu from by acclaimed East End chefs from Bell & Anchor, The Beacon, East Hampton Grill, Farm & Forage, Hampton Coffee, LUNCH, Page at 234 Main, Saaz, Shellworks, Southampton Social Club, The Golden Pear, and Union Burger.
Following the reception, guests can enjoy a seated dinner, honoree presentation, auction, and dancing until 10:00 p.m. The event will be catered by Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, and beverages will be provided by Amagansett Wines & Spirits, Channing Daughters Winery, Michael Cinque and J.A. Baczewski Monopolowa Gin & Vodka.
