Save The Date: Parrish Art Museum's First Annual Hamptons Festival of the Arts, August 13th & 14th

ParrishThe launch of the first annual Hamptons Festival of the Arts will take place on August 13th and 14th at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill.  The Festival will be dedicated to a wide range of performances and events celebrating music, dance, theater and the visual arts. The musical event was formed through a partnership between IMG Artists and Barrett Wissman, Renée Fleming, Benjamin Millepied, IFAC Hands Foundation and the Parrish Art Museum.

Renée Fleming, world renown soprano and four-time Grammy Award Winner, will serve as the Festival curator, kicking off the event with a recital in the galleries of the Parrish where she will be accompanied by guest artist Rufus Wainwright. Following the recital will be a private reception promising an evening immersed in culture and beautiful scenery of the location. The weekend will continue with a day-performance by Festival Dance Curator, Benjamin Millepied, a world acclaimed choreographer, who has created a performance designed specifically for the event on August 14th in the Museum’s Lichtenstein Theater.
