Starting this week The Pridwin Hotel’s famed weekly Wednesday cookouts are back! A Shelter Island tradition that began in 1962, the weekly cookouts on the front lawn of the hotel are a summer highlight at this legendary historic destination. KDHamptons has more details to follow…

The Pridwin Hotel is a classic American resort hotel that has been offering welcoming hospitality on Shelter Island since 1927. The nearly 8 acre site on Crescent Beach entail refreshing breezes and breathtaking water views of the Peconic Bay. The Pridwin has just completed a two year top-to-bottom renovation by Cape Resorts and The Petry family where they maintained their classic, timeless traditions, while seamlessly integrating luxury amenities, service and programming for all generations. 

Every Wednesday starting July 26th through the week of Labor Day, The Pridwin Hotel will host their traditional cookouts on their gorgeous lawn. Food is to be served between 5:00pm-8:45pm and tickets to the delicious cookout are $65 a person. There is also a convenient boat shuttle provided from Barons Cove as well as personal docking available.
