Playful Learning Studio Opens For Sophomore Season In East Hampton
Playful Learning Studio, a boutique learning center, is excited to announce that it is now open for its second season in the Hamptons, working with children on the East End of Long Island and NYC on their academic, social, and emotional learning needs. Located on Newtown Lane, Playful Learning is equipped with a talented team of educators to spark students’ desire to learn. There are many new programs offered this summer for children ages 2-14, which add to the popular list of services returning for a second season at Playful Learning.
New programs for this summer include Saturdays in the Studio, which feature a wide range of exciting group program lineups, including Toddler Cooking, Science Labs, Dinosaur Fossils, Water Cycle Terrariums, Simple Electric Circuit, Mantra Rocks, and more.
Also new this summer is an online program entitled, Camp Playful Learning that offers online summer enrichment to campers in the comfort of their own home. Camp Playful Learning is available either on a week-by-week basis or as a class combination package, and will feature weekly online workshops such as Writer’s Notebook, Backyard Science, Be a Peacemaker, Poetry Makers, Food for Thought, Digitally Savvy, Simple Machines, and more. These offerings help fill the summer learning gap for children near and far. Each program is self-paced so that the students can work at their own speed with parental guidance.
Playful Learning is also continuing its private one-on-one and small group tutoring and enrichment, offering everything from kindergarten readiness to book clubs and science labs. Playful Learning’s unique approach to learning teaches basic skills through fun hands-on projects and emphasizes the importance of students learning how to learn. Playful Learning also offer House Calls in the Hamptons and NYC, a service that delivers personalized learning to clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Another exciting addition to the Playful Learning space this summer is a collaboration with a local interior designer, Farrin Cary Design. Having designed the Playful Learning Studio space, Farrin Cary will offer interior design services for families in the Hamptons and New York City interested in creating playrooms and learning spaces in their own homes. These areas can consist of entire playrooms, a space woven into your child’s bedroom, or a play area integrated into another part of the house—all inspired by the Playful Learning philosophy.
