NEW KDHamptons Party Diary: Christina Galesi's Annual Halloween Bash
“The highlight of the night was when the dance floor was jam packed with dancing cone heads, human iPhones, pregnant men, big-butted Kardashians, Ozzie & Sharon Osborne, and a mom Tom Cruise wearing briefs,” shares Hamptons Halloween hostess Christina Galesi [above], who throws the most buzz worthy bash of the spooky season. “There were robbers, fairies, Princess Leah, hairy Chubacka, Benjamin Franklin, chickens, dogs, devils, angels, knights, zombies, go-go girls, and a father who drove his family 7 hours to get to the party who had tea bags hanging from his ears. Even my dad, who is 85, danced the entire time with a big smile on his face. This is the kind of playfulness and joy that makes life so sweet, and keeps you smiling the next day at work.” Christina shares her favorite moments from the night in this NEW KDHamptons Party diary, below:
“One masked marauder turned to me and said, ‘We should do this once a month!’ I wish we could, because nothing is more fun than dancing under the disco lights with your friends. Having hosted this Halloween Costume Disco party for 14 years in a row, and looking forward to making it even better next year, I am so happy to show my friends and family how much I love and appreciate them every year,” shares Galesi.
“The most hilarious moment of the night was when a police officer showed up at 10:15pm to tell us to lower the music—Stephen, my husband, who was in a fat chicken costume greeted him enthusiastically with “Wow—What a GREAT costume—You look just like a Cop—Come on in!!!” What ensued included a small photo session plus 45 minutes more of full volume music. Gotta love the Sag Harbor Police Dept for being so professional, yet so nice.”
