KDH threw a spooky great Hamptons Halloween party on Saturday night for my stepdaughter Lily [aka Niki Minaj!]. Skeletons, skulls, cauldrons of candy, cookies, kids in costumes, candles, jack-o-lanterns, and ghosts filled our Water Mill farmhouse turned nightclub for a super fun night of dancing to Lily’s fierce play list by a roaring fire. Dr. Zombie and I loved seeing all the kids cool costumes: hippies, ladybugs, a nurse, Serena Williams, a gangster and more!

During the day, Lily and I baked up a storm, carved pumpkins, and decorated the house with cobwebs, candles, and skulls. The most fun part of the day was putting on our makeup~ a platinum blonde wig with pink tips, neon pink lashes, and a glow-in-the dark skeleton suit for Lily’s Minaj look and red glitter lashes, black lipstick, and red & black hooded gown for my Vampire Queen of Darkhampton costume! So much fun and lots of laughs were just what we needed to take our minds off the impending storm.

I found this fun old photo [above] of me at Lily’s age at my own Halloween party. I am the brunette movie star on the lower right! My mom lent me her mink, red lipstick, and hair “fall” for the night~ ha! Great memories…
