NEW KDHamptons Obsession: FESTIVAL, The First Farm-to-Bar Cocktail Cafe

I served FESTIVAL’s LUST and PAPER PLANE delicious cocktails at an al fresco dinner party last week.
By now we are all pretty hip to farm to table dining, but have you made the transition to farm to bar cocktailing? Why not enjoy healthier cocktails with farm fresh ingredients?  I love muddling mint from my garden to add to a sparkling summer spritzer. Leading this trend is Festival, the first farm-to-bar cocktail cafe in New York City, offering limited outdoor [and soon to be indoor] seating as well as their high-quality cocktails delivered in the comfort of your own home. Comparable to how some meal delivery services function, the cocktail delivery service contains a step-by-step guide to premium mixology straight to your door.

With new menus each Monday, customers choose their large format, pre-batched premium cocktails, available in either 24 oz. (6 cocktails, $80) or 32 oz. (8 cocktails, $100). Deliveries are every Friday, just in time for the weekend!

This week’s menu includes:

  • Phantom Punch – 10 to 1 Caribbean Rum, Velvet Falernum, Festival Bananas, Foster Syrup, Market Citrus
  • Boulevardier Festival – Glyph Molecular Whiskey, Morin Vermouth Blend, Montanaro 6pm
  • Last Summer – Spring 44 Gin, Bespoke Melon Cordial, Green Chartreuse
  • Lust – Chipotle Enhanced Verde Mezcal, Passionfruit, Market Lime
  • Paper Plane– Ragtime Bonded Rye | Montanaro 6pm Aperitivo | Yuzu Omoi | Amaro Montenegro | Festival Bergamot Bitters
Drinks can be purchased at https://www.farmtobardelivery.com/, but they do not ship to the Hamptons yet – only to Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens so ask a friend to pick up set for you on their way out East.  All pricing and other information can be found on the site.
Festival also offers a menu of shareable plates prepared by partner and executive chef Andrew Maturana.
