Going Hollywood! On a recent Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy spent nearly 2 minutes discussing my new favorite cookbook: the Bridgehampton Inn and Restaurant Look + Cook Book. It The Bridgehampton Inn is one of my favorite spots in the Hamptons for five star dining with ambience to match. It is the first Hamptons restaurant to publish a cookbook, bringing to life the Hamptons experience of summertime entertaining. Fallon has been a frequent patron of Sybille van Kempen’s Bridgehampton Inn Restaurant and Loaves and Fishes Food Store for many years. The Van Kempen family is part of the cloth of the East End culinary scene and culture. Jimmy told the story of when his daughter Winnie was 1 year old and Sybille’s mother, Anna Pump, gave her her first deviled egg. I have so many fond memories as well from visiting the iconic Loaves and Fishes original outpost in Sagaponack and can’t wait to prepare these recipes at home.
