This week KDHamptons catches up with stunning Sag Harbor resident and Social Media Specialist, Danielle Gingerich, who is also the daughter of famed East End artist Jim Gingerich. Danielle shares, “I was born in NYC, but I have lived in the Hamptons since I was five years old. During the past four years, I attended NYU and graduated at the top of my class in June. I love the Hamptons lifestyle and the opportunity to spend so much time outdoors. It revitalizes me to swim in the ocean, walk on the beach, or kayak in the bay near my house. We live in a very special place.”

KDHamptons: Please describe what you do for our readers?

Danielle: After graduating with a Marketing, Communications, and Media major, with a business minor, and handling the social media at CBS for Star Trek, the #1 cult TV show of all time, I decided to launch my own Social Media business. I manage social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest, for small businesses, creating and posting daily content and developing strategies to attract and engage followers, boost awareness, and increase product and business sales.

KDHamptons: How would you describe your Hamptons style?

Danielle: I would describe my personal style as beachy, casual chic. I don’t have a favorite designer — I wear whatever makes me happy and feel good!

KDHamptons: What is your favorite Hamptons restaurant, got a favorite dish & drink you get every time?
Danielle: My favorite restaurants are the ones that support our local farmers by offering farm-to-table or garden-to table fare. I love Estia’s Little Kitchen in Sag Harbor. I always order the Potato Crusted Flounder, and the Macari “Early Wine Spritzer.”

KDHamptons: Describe your perfect Hamptons day in detail?

Danielle: My perfect Hamptons day would consist of going for a swim at Gibson beach, playing tennis, kayaking at sunset, and working for my clients, of course. Going out to dinner with my friends is a plus.

KDHamptons: What is your little secret about the Hamptons?

Danielle: I have two secrets that I’ll share with you. One is that I can get a great workout at Hamptons Hot Yoga in Bridgehampton, and then walk across the street to BLOW Hampton to get beautified – both within a couple of yards of each other! My second secret spot is my backyard, which borders the bay. We have a tiny beach where I go exploring in my kayak. I am usually the only on the water and it is pure bliss.

KDHamptons: If you could invite three people to your Hamptons home for dinner whom would you choose?

Danielle: I would love to have Van Morrison, Steve Jobs, and Henri Matisse over for dinner, ideally at the same time!
