NEW KDHamptons Holiday Photo Diary: Design Details of My Magical Winter Woodland Garden

SHARE

This year I decided on a magical winter woodland garden theme as my inspiration for my holiday porchscape. Not sure why this scene popped into my mind, I just knew that I wanted to create a scene without gold, glitter, and Santa’s in a red velvet suit. My first stop to forage my forest was at Topiaire Floral Boutique in Southampton which is a jewel box of curated decor items, flowers, ornaments, gifts, and more. ¬†Pretty much all of my tablescapes include one of a kind items and arrangements from here. How will you be decorating your home for the holidays? Be sure to tag @KDHamptons¬† on insta to share with me :)

My next stop was at Fowler’s Garden Center in Southampton to pick up lots of winter plants, pine branches, boxwoods, and greenery that would create the backdrop of the forest.

Topiaire owner Erin Meaney shares, “We can create fun tablescapes in all budgets with clients, making subtle changes in merchandise. In this setting, Santa is $78 owl is $48. Antler hurricanes are hand made and prices vary in range $200. Range each. The elk are $68 each.”

Erin also designed this custom wreath for my front door to correspond with the theme of the tablescape.

All of the plants and cabbages will last through Christmas if you water them once a week.
