Showcasing her wonderful contemporary impressionist paintings of Long Island beach scenes, “Hail to the Beach” is Dinah Maxwell Smith’s newest exhibit, hosted by the Southampton Historical Museum. Smith’s work is inspired by historic photographs focusing on gesture, stance, and capturing a special moment, and she has been listed in Who’s Who of American Art for the past 20 years. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Dinah’s work has been shown extensively in the Hamptons, New York, Germany, and France.
