Summer is about to heat up, so how about a fresh new cocktail recipe to cool you down? Tis’ the season for watermelon in the Hamptons!  KDHamptons has found the best watermelon cocktail recipes of the summer…

Besides the great taste, watermelon also packs a healthy punch! It is a juicy low calorie fruit that is packed with antioxidants, vitamins A and C, and potassium.  Watermelon also helps you fight infection, heal faster, relieve stress, and stay hydrated. So cheers! It’s time to mix some drinks!

To begin, we recommend buying watermelon from local farmers markets because they tend to be fresh and seedless with red and yellow varieties.  One of our favorite farms in the Hamptons is Round Swamp Farm [184 Three Mile Harbor Road, East Hampton].  Check out KDHamptons visit to the farm here.

Once you’ve got your watermelon, it’s cocktail time!
