Dubbed a “perfect destination for summer dining” by The New York Times, Navy Beach will reopen for the 12th season on Friday, April 30th at 5:30pm. Bring your appetites and sandals because Montauk’s favorite beach front restaurant is re-opening for the 2021 summer season. This KDHamptons favorite offers beautiful views, delicious food & drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere. Can’t wait to see you there!

The prime location on a 200-foot stretch of private beach on the idyllic Fort Pond Bay offers significant outdoor space and seating for dining guests.  Navy Beach will only be open to dining guests with confirmed reservations for lunch/dinner service this season.  Several safety protocols will be in place throughout the season including: hand sanitizing dispensers; a frequent sanitizing protocol for all common surfaces on premises; staff utilizing face masks; and guests are required to wear face masks at all times when not seated at their table.

All seating will be arranged with proper distancing according to state mandate.  Select menu offerings will also be available for takeout along with the beverage menu, based on availability and state guidelines. Boat deliveries to the Fort Pond Bay will also be available late June through Labor Day.  Yachting clientele will be happy to hear that the beachfront restaurant’s popular “Torpedo” service will be back this season offering a launch running weekends from late June through Labor Day.

New menu items in the works for the 2021 season include the following:  Salmon Tartare  with yuzu soy, scallion, toasted sesame & crispy rice noodles; Shrimp Ceviche with avocado, tomato, jalapeno, cilantro & saltines; Maryland Crab Cake with Dijon aioli, little gem lettuce & grapefruit;  Bucatini Fra Diavolo with local kale, chili flake, San Marzano tomatoes, breadcrumbs & parmesan  (with the option to add a half lobster); Roasted Sea Scallops with summer corn succotash, chorizo, serrano chili & lime; and Roasted Zucchini with toasted almonds, pecorino & olive oil.

Over the last eleven seasons, the restaurant has become a go-to-destination for its rosé selections, and as a result, the restaurant will continue to showcase its increasingly popular rosé offerings this season. According to beverage director Bob Pruett, “This year’s list will include a thoughtful balance of traditional wines with some up and coming producers as well as a healthy dose of classic grape varietals sprinkled with some esoteric ones.” A new libation to look for this season is a best-seller imported from the brand’s newest outpost in the Virgin Islands—Navy Beach, St. Thomas. The Ginger Thomas is a refreshing mix of vodka, ginger syrup, cucumber and lime.

Navy Beach will continue to support the Navy SEAL Foundation with its ninth annual dine + donate program from Memorial Day through Labor Day, with $1 added to each dining check. Guests will also be able to donate additional funds to the organization. Since beginning to fundraise for the organization in 2013, the restaurant has raised over $175,000 for the Navy SEAL Foundation. In addition, the restaurant’s local East Hampton High School scholarship program continues for a third year which will award four $500 scholarships to 2021 graduates who reside in Montauk.

Over the past two winters, Navy Beach has been expanding beyond Montauk! Navy Beach, St. Thomas at Yacht Haven Grande in the USVI is the first venture from Navy Beach Hospitality outside of the continental United States, and the first of several Caribbean-based projects to open over the next few years, including Navy Beach St. Maarten, opening late 2021 at the IGY Isle de Sol Yacht Club, in Simpson Bay.

Navy Beach, St. Thomas offers prime waterfront positioning at the sprawling Yacht Haven Grande, and features a delightful mix of fully covered and sun-dappled, socially distanced outdoor seating, a comfortable outdoor lounge, and a 20-seat bar, all with unobstructed views of the surrounding yachts and Charlotte Amalie Harbor, which serves an impressive collection of the world’s finest mega-yachts as well as an array of sailing, sport fishing and other pleasure crafts. The bright, open-air nautically inspired space spills out onto Yacht Haven Grande’s prized “canon lawn,” making it the perfect venue for live music performances, private events and weddings.

Navy Beach, St. Maarten will be the newest venture from Navy Beach outside of the continental United States, opening late 2021 at the Yacht Club Isle de Sol, in Simpson Bay. Just as the Navy Beach lifestyle has come to epitomize stylish seaside dining with surreal sunsets and a joyful sense of celebration woven throughout the experience, Navy Beach, St. Maarten will raise the bar even further as the brand’s premiere flagship in the Caribbean.
