KDHamptons 7 Top Picks For A Great Valentine's Day Date

SHARE

Hello Hamptons Lovers! Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, make sure you have a great date night planned for your sweetheart! P.S. Don’t think because it’s winter that you won’t need a reservation. Lots of restaurants get fully booked. Here are a few of my suggestions:

1. Start Valentine’s Day off right ~ and that means with flowers! Arrange to pick up or send a gorgeous bouquet of flowers from Topiaire Floral Boutique at 51 Jobs Lane in Southampton. Owner Erin Meaney is the best at creating romantic, pretty, and gaspworthy arrangements.

2. Tempt your taste buds! 1770 House in East Hampton (1770house.com, 631-324-1770) will serve a four-course prix fixe tasting menu by chef Michael Rozzi for $85 per person plus drinks, tax and gratuity starting at 5:30 p.m. on Valentine’s Day.

3. Toast to your love! Stir things up with these signature cocktails by Casamigos

4. Indulge in a romantic winter offering from Topping Rose House, the scenic, 22-room hotel and restaurant in Bridgehampton operated by acclaimed chef Tom Colicchio.

For Valentine’s Day, executive chef Ty Kotz has created a four-course tasting menu highlighting seasonal and local ingredients for $125 per person. The menu is available all weekend in addition to the restaurant’s seasonal à la carte menu. Children under ten dine for $45. Full menu details below.

There are all levels of skaters on the rink so go take a spin.

5. Ice Skating at Buckskill Winter Club. Channel Ice Castles and cuddle up with your Valentine for a night time skate around the rink. Location: 178 Buckskill Road, East Hampton; 6:30-9:30 pm.

6. Valentine’s Day Specials at Nick & Toni’s (136 N. Main St., East Hampton, [631] 324-3550). Italian food fanatics can indulge in the a la carte specials for Valentine’s Day, February 14th. Dinner will be served starting at 6 p.m. and reservations are suggested. In addition to the regular menu, specials will be offered (nickandtonis.com, 631-324-3550) with special a la carte items such as lobster and avocado salad and triple chocolate pavlova. Reservations are strongly recommended.

7. Fall in Puppy Love! Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, an animal shelter located at 90 Daniels Hole Road in Wainscott, will have an adoption open house on Valentine’s Day, Saturday, February 14, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the shelter in Wainscott. The shelter will provide free microchipping and vaccinations for pets. Also, there will be raffle prizes, games for children and refreshments.
