Ponquogue Point, a private, three-acre waterfront community inspired by an 18th Century New England coastal manor is just about ready for Hamptons lovers to claim as their new, home away from home.  Designed by the internationally acclaimed architectural and design firm Zyscovich Architects, this luxury development along Shinnecock Bay, features 22 available unique townhomes, a resort style pool, boat launch facilities and an on-site marina.  Forget battling Hamptons traffic − how great would it be to have a parking spot for your boat right outside your front door?!

In keeping with the architectural tradition of the Hamptons, the townhomes feature shingle style design in natural cedar with white trim, sections of copper roofs and fieldstone chimneys, with each complex differing slightly from the rest.  Ponquogue Point’s one, two and three bedroom residences range from 1,000 to 2,500 square feet, with beamed ceilings, fireplaces and decks. Some homes have been constructed with ground level terraces; others with roof decks. Prices begin at $700,000 and go up to $2.5 million for residences with direct waterfronts and ocean view rooftop decks.  Lush, tall privet hedges, elegantly surround this private townhouse community. In addition to master planning and architecture, Zyscovich Architects was also responsible for Ponquogue Point’s landscape concept.

Hamptons design duo Jennifer Mabley and Austin Handler [above] of Mabley Handler Interior Design spearheaded the beach chic look of the entire project.  Over the last decade Mabley Handler has grown to become one of the leading design firms on the east end.  Their work has been featured in numerous publications, including: Hamptons Cottages & Gardens, Hamptons Magazine, Coastal Living, Luxe Interiors + Design, Ocean Home, Traditional Home, The New York Times, the Daily News, the New York Post, and on NBC’s LX.TV Open House NYC, and the Discovery Channel.

“The enclave will bring a new feeling of vibrancy to this part of the Hamptons while preserving an atmosphere and environment that are in keeping with the community’s long-establish image and heritage,” said Bernard Zyscovich, AIA, CEO & Founder of Zyscovich Architects. “It will appear as though these homes have been part of their surroundings for decades.”

Ponquogue Point is built on the site of the old Allen’s Acres Resort Motel. The project is named after the stretch of land on which it sits that leads to the Ponquogue Bridge and outlying beaches. For more information, please visit www.ponquoguepoint.net
