KDHamptons Save The Date: Gimme Shelter Animal Rescue Benefit With Chuck Scarborough on July 26th

Gimme Shelter Animal Rescue will be hosting their Third Annual Summer Benefit on Saturday, July 26th from 5-8pm at the elegant home of Ellen and Chuck Scarborough. The event raises money for the rescue’s efforts to save dogs from kill shelters around the country, spay/neuter, pay for all necessary medical care, and ultimately find them loving forever homes!

 

 

 

 

 

 

The evening will kick off with a ceremony honoring the Rescue’s amazing therapy dogs Leo and Lola, including a “Smooch the Pooch” kissing booth, music by DJ Ray Jarrell, a Bark Box station where you fill your own box with various toys an treats to take home for your pet, and a live and silent auction lead by Chuck Scarborough.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chuck Scarborough, animal lover and adopter of two Gimme Shelter Dogs, will act as master of ceremonies. He will be joined  by Emmy award winning comedy writer Bill Persky of the Dick Van Dyke Show.  During the event, attendees will enjoy a musical performance by Grammy Award winning singer and songwriter Loudon Wainwright while sipping on cocktails from Tito’s Vodka, Spiked Seltzer,  wine from No Malice Palace, and delicious hors d’oeuvres by Between the Bread.
