Hester & Cook

If you follow KDHamptons then you know how much I LOVE to entertain. Creating a beautiful tablescape design for my guests is just as important to me as the menu we serve, so I am always excited to discover a new design resource that will add to a magic moment at Maple Shade.  My latest obsession is a husband and wife owned company called Hester & Cook which celebrates traditions and modern living with gorgeously crafted paper placemats, table runners, kitchen accessories, stationery, pencils, art prints and gifts for the home.
Founders Angie & Robbie Cook

Hester & Cook started in the home basement of husband and wife team Robbie and Angie Hester Cook. What began as Robbie’s inspired idea of crafting a vintage door knob into a bottle stopper soon became the company’s first product, KnobStoppers. Within months, Angie and Robbie introduced the product to the wholesale market.

From there, Hester & Cook rapidly grew into offering everything from hand-crafted chandeliers to #2 pencils. Today we are best known for our paper placemat pads and table runners. Assortments of our products can be found at over 3000 stores worldwide, but the full collection is only available on this website as well as our two Nashville, TN area retail locations; our flagship store in White Bridge and our newest location in Franklin, TN.

Angie shares some spring news, “We have added a new category to our Serving Papers line, Serving Confetti! This exciting new product is perfect for use on graze boards, but also can be used in a large variety of ways. It comes in three designs and two different sizes to make it easy to fill any size/shape tray.”

“We also love to use it as drink tags, arranged around a plate as a placemat, set on your bread plate – the possibilities are endless! Our big introduction for this season has been our new Peony Collection. This design is highly versatile and creates a beautiful table setting.”

“In addition, new designs are available in both our Orange Orchard collection and our Easter Florals collection. All that has been listed is available and ready to purchase through our online store,” says Angie.
Don’t you love this concept? So pretty, cheery, chic, and perfect for Hamptons entertaining.
