KDHamptons New Recipe Obsession: Healthy Mint Cacao Shakes

This week KDHamptons contributor & fabulous foodie, Jennifer Rizzo, shares a new favorite shake recipe from Urban Remedy for “mintchocolate deliciousness”….. KDH can’t wait to try it!

 

Jen shares, “I got inspired to try this recipe after recently watching an interview with gorgeous Cindy Crawford and her new partner Neka Pasquale [she’s a Chinese nutritionist]. Together, they have developed a new life style brand called Urban Remedy which includes: juices, organic foods, wellness kits and more. Cindy said that this was her daily morning shake and Neka, went on to talk about the amazing benefits of the mint,  cacao, cinnamon and spinach, so I scaled it down a little [to more of a serving size] and let me tell you it is so yummy!”

One Mint Cacao Shake and a Peace, Love and Apple bar from GinnyBakes….both outrageously delicious:

2 cups almond milk
1 cup fresh spinach
1 frozen banana
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tbsp cacao sweet nibs
1 tbsp fresh mint {I used 5-6 leaves}
