KDHamptons Foodies: Meet & Eat with Local Purveyors at Williams Sonoma's Artisans Market, Saturday November 17th!

Hey KDHamptons foodies~ do you have plans this weekend? If not, meet me at the Bridgehampton Commons Williams Sonoma store for a neat event where you can taste signature foods from local East End producers on Saturday, November 17, from 12 pm to 4 pm.

 

Here’s who will be presenting some of their sweet & savory delights:

Amagansett Sea Salt Co.:
Add local flavor to your life with this all-natural sea salt. It’s handcrafted in small batches using Atlantic seawater that’s expertly filtered and solar-evaporated by artisans in the Hamptons.

 

Bee’s Needs:
Bee’s Needs provides raw and unfiltered honey, sourced from hives on the North and South Forks of Long Island.

Dolce Nirvana:
This self-described “a la famiglia” artisanal bakeshop is the East End’s go-to place for extraordinary sweets and savories, all handcrafted with the best natural ingredients-and lots of love.

 

 

Lucy’s Whey:
With a passion for cheese, good food and hospitality, Lucy Kazickas opened Lucy’s Whey in 2008 in East Hampton, New York. As the top purveyor of cheese in the Hamptons, Lucy’s Whey is known by residents and restaurants throughout the East End as the source for quality artisanal cheese and specialty foods.

 

Monte’s Ham:
Starting with New York State pasture raised pigs, Monte’s Ham uses a non- nitrate, smoke based preserving process to cure their hams. With a commitment to using local ingredients and supporting local food banks and charities, Monte’s Hams is a prime example of a local food artisan.

 

 

Mali B. Sweets:
Led by designers and chefs Miche Bacher and Nanao Anton, Mali B. Sweets is a true collaboration. Informed by diverse backgrounds in the visual and healing arts, by Miche’s work with some of the country’s most renowned chefs and Nanao’s experience in design, and by their mutual love for the culinary arts, Sacred Sweets brings excellence and innovation to the table.

 

Southhampton Soap Company:
Southampton Soap Company has been handcrafting soaps for over ten years using local and organic ingredients whenever possible. Created in small kettle batches and scented with the finest essential oils, soaps are then poured into wooden molds and cut by hand.
