KDHamptons Feast End: La Brisa de Tacombi Opens In Montauk! Late Night Tacos, Sangria, & Fresh Ceviche!

Hola Hamptonites! There’s a new muy caliente restaurant bringing Mexico to Montauk ~  Grab a piña colada, some freshly caught ceviche, and enjoy!

Unlike it’s sister restaurant in NYC, Tacombi La Fonda Nolita, “La Brisa” is Spanish for “the breeze” and the restaurant concept was aptly born on the beach.  Chef Luis Aguilar Puente shares that his “recipes are inspired by his favorite beaches in Acapulco, Tulum, and Veracruz”.

Love authentic Mexican cuisine? La Brisa de Tacombi is one of the only East End restaurants making homemade tortillas all day long with a taco machine from the town of San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Seven different types of tacos are offered, including our fav three:

*POLLO DE LA GRANJA
*CARNE DE RES
*CRISPY FISH

Our local waters will provide dock-to-dish fresh fish entrees, daily specials, a variety of fresh ceviche, and fish tacos.

Here’s what we think is the best news: La Brisa offers a traditional Mexican breakfast from 7 AM – 11 AM [and until 1 PM on weekends]. Forget the boring bagel, dive in to a stack of banana pancakes topped with a fried egg, breakfast tacos, and chilaquiles.

Nursing a hangover from a long night at the Surf Lodge? La Brisa offers Mexican cocktails such as the classic Pina Colada, ice cold Mexican beers, and Sparkling Sangria ~ our favorite!  If you want a booze-free drink, try one of their Lupita Juices with fresh fruit and vegetable blends.
